Adapting the financial management system and accounting information system (FMS) to accounting in euro

During the project, currency conversion from litas (former national currency in Lithuania) to euros was successfully performed in the SAP FMS. According to the SAP currency conversion methodology, preparatory work was carried out in accordance with the currency exchange conversion performed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, the problem of the rounding of conversions and the discrepancy with number of decimal places was solved. At the end of the year currency conversions were executed precisely in accordance with the planned schedule, so that the preparation of the annual financial statements of the client organization would not be disturbed.
