The information system SVEIDRA is one of the main operating systems of the National Health Insurance Fund, and is used to manage the accounting of medical services paid from the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund and to control the provision of services. In the process of providing treatment services, all state-owned medical institutions, pharmacies, private orthopedic, dental, medical and health care institutions that have concluded agreements with the NHIF provide to and receive data from SVEIDRA. In addition, SVEIDRA is one of the main sources of data for the E-Health system. The system is integrated with NHIF queue management information system, financial management and accounting information system, and document management system. SVEIDRA has been operating since 1997, but recently due to outdated technology, data increase, complicated system architecture, more and more resources are needed to maintain and ensure stable operation of the system. During the project, SVEIDRA functions are transferred to a technologically and qualitatively new architecture based on SAP HANA. The aim is that, once the SVEIDRA project is completed, the operation will require significantly less resources due to the optimized need for technical and system software, as well as increased reliability and system speed.
